Clothing Donations

We assist clients in transitioning violence-free lives. When a woman and her children enter the shelter, we provide the basic necessities (made possible through community donations) to provide peace of mind in one aspect of her life. One of the items we are always in need of is clothing – of all sizes, in-season, for women, children, and men.

We accept:

New undergarments and bathing suits
Gently used shirts, pants, dresses, shoes, purses, jewelry, maternity wear, outwear, belts, etc.

We accept men’s clothing of all sizes as from time to time we do have male youth up to the age of 18 staying in the shelter with their mother.

Donations can be dropped off at Nova Vita Domestic Violence Prevention Services (59 North Park Street, Brantford). PLEASE NOTE: Nova Vita’s Donation Bin is currently closed due to COVID-19. Read more here.

We sincerely appreciate all donations. At times we may receive an abundance of items at which point we will share with our community partners who may also have clients in need. Our partners include, but are not limited to, the following:
